2004 Earth Day

“Team up to Clean up” is the theme for the 13th Annual Earth Day Parade and Celebration on Thursday, April 22, in historical Kelly Ingram Park. The Celebration from 9am-2pm features live entertainment, environmental exhibits, costume contests, and a litter-free picnic in the park. The nation’s largest Earth Day Parade for children kicks off at noon.

Since 1991, more than 33,000 children have participated in this EcoMarch with “Auntie Litter” to raise awareness for environmental protection.
